DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - The Quad City Symphony Orchestra announced its 2025-2026 season over the weekend.

The group’s 111th season is called Vivace and will span musical genres and eras, according to orchestra officials.

The season will include performances of:

  • Johannes Brahms’ Symphony No. 2
  • Igor Stravinsky’s Rite of Spring
  • Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No. 6

The orchestra will also perform Billy Child’s jazz-inspired Diaspora for the first time in the Quad Cities and the world premiere of Angel Lam’s composition.

Guest soloists include:

  • Yefim Bronfman, concert piano
  • Hannah Holman, QCSO principal cello

The QCSO at the Movies Series will include:

  • Jurassic Park
  • Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2

The Quad City Bank & Trust Riverfront Pops will celebrate the music of 70s horn bands, including:

  • Chicago
  • Earth, Wind & Fire
  • Blood, Sweat & Tears
